“11:11” is an album full of experimental sounds and genre-blending, making each track feel distinct. Jessica Smyth(Biig Piig) keeps both the album and track lengths short, which works in her favor—you can listen from start to finish without skipping forward. There’s no time to get bored, and the most impressive aspect is her versatility. Depending on the song, we find ourselves reminded of artists like Dua Lipa, Kylie Minogue. Incorporating elements of dance pop, house, indie, and more, “11:11” successfully balances a wide range of influences without feeling disjointed.

“4AM” sets the tone with a hazy electro-guitar intro, hushed vocals, and deep synths, creating a laid-back groove that drives the track. The second song “Ponytail” starts off delicately with an electric guitar and a thumping kick drum before shifting into a hyperpop vibe midway through.

Fresh off the release of “11:11,” Biig Piig spotlighted “9-5” with a music video, and for good reason. What begins as an alternative R&B hybrid with a soulful electric guitar rapidly transforms into a vibrant, high-energy electronic dance groove, driven by a groovy bassline and layered synths. Biig Piig’s airy, light vocals are captivating and complement the song’s sensual theme of deep, unwavering love and devotion.

One of our favorite tracks is “Favourite Girl”, which bursts with energy thanks to its arpeggiated synths and slick, funky bassline. The melody is irresistibly catchy, making it one of the most memorable tracks on the album. Another standout track is “Stay Home,” which showcases intriguing vocal production. Towards the end, Biig Piig’s friends and family join in, singing and clapping along, adding a unique and intimate touch to the song.

Throughout “11:11,” Biig Piig’s vocals feel effortless and easy on the ears, seamlessly blending with the album’s dynamic production. Her ability to experiment with various genres while maintaining a cohesive sound is impressive, making “11:11” a fresh and engaging listen from start to finish.
