Camila Cabello has officially expanded her musical universe with the release of “C, XOXO (Magic City Edition),” a deluxe version of her ambitious fourth studio album. Originally released on June 28, 2024, through Geffen and Interscope Records, “C, XOXO” marked a dramatic shift in Cabello’s artistic direction, and this deluxe edition is set to push those boundaries even further.

“C, XOXO” was a bold rebrand for Cabello, diverging significantly from her previous work. The album contains elements of hyperpop, hip-hop, avant-pop, and alt-pop, creating a genre-blending experience that combines these styles into a singular, eclectic sound. The album features notable collaborations with Playboi Carti, Lil Nas X, JT and Yung Miami, BLP Kosher, and Drake, showcasing Cabello’s versatility and her ability to blend seamlessly with various artists.

Upon its release, “C, XOXO” sparked conversation for its departure from Cabello’s familiar latin pop territory. The LP, which debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard 200 albums chart dated July 13, 2024, includes standout tracks like the atmospheric “June Gloom” and the infectious lead single “I LUV IT.” The album’s unique blend of styles and its visually striking promotion, including Cabello’s dramatic blonde dye job, reinforced her intent to redefine her musical identity.

Now, with the release of the Magic City Edition, Cabello further enriches this rebranding effort. The deluxe edition introduces four new tracks: “baby pink,” “Come Show Me,” “can friends kiss?,” and “GODSPEED.” Each of these additions continues to explore the diverse sound palette established in the original release, promising fans more of the innovative and genre-defying music that has characterized this era of Cabello’s career.
