Eminem, the revered rap icon from Detroit, has revealed that his eagerly awaited album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce),” will hit shelves on July 12. This album marks his first major release since 2020’s acclaimed “Music to Be Murdered By” series.

The announcement comes on the heels of Eminem’s recent success with the single “Houdini,” which made an impressive debut at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Adding to the anticipation, a teaser featuring an obituary for his alter ego Slim Shady in the Detroit Free Press has ignited curiosity among fans.

In a bold move, Eminem also unveiled a trailer on social media, showcasing a provocative video where a woman gives birth to a demon baby. The unsettling clip concludes with a snippet of his recent hit “Houdini” and confirms the July 12 release date.

Additionally, the album’s second single, “Tobey,” drops today, featuring Big Sean and Babytron with a music video directed by Cole Bennett.
