Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet” has been one of the biggest musical phenomena of 2024, and she just made it even sweeter. Originally released in August, the album became an instant global success, securing its place atop the charts and solidifying Sabrina’s status as one of pop’s brightest stars. It spent an incredible three consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, becoming just the second album of 2024 to achieve such a feat in its opening weeks.
The album’s opening track, “Taste,” captured attention for all the right reasons. It shot straight to No. 1 on Spotify’s U.S. chart, overtaking Sabrina’s own “Please Please Please.” With that, “Taste” became the third song from the album to hit No. 1, making it clear that Sabrina’s musical journey was far from over.
To celebrate the album’s success and keep the momentum going, Sabrina Carpenter unveiled the deluxe edition of “Short n’ Sweet” on February 14—just in time for Valentine’s Day, giving her fans the perfect gift to kick off the romantic season. This deluxe release comes hot on the heels of Sabrina’s breakout moment at the GRAMMYs, where she snagged six nominations as a first-time nominee. Her wins included “Best Pop Vocal Album” for “Short n’ Sweet” and “Best Pop Solo Performance” for the album’s lead single, “Espresso.” Her unforgettable GRAMMYs debut featured a performance of “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” earning her rave reviews.
The deluxe edition brings a fresh twist to the already established pop classic, featuring new tracks and an iconic collaboration that elevate “Short n’ Sweet” even further. Just two days after her GRAMMY wins, Sabrina surprised her fans with a major announcement: a remix of “Please Please Please,” this time featuring none other than country icon Dolly Parton. The collaboration is a perfect blend of Sabrina’s pop prowess and Dolly’s legendary country flair.
In addition to the Dolly Parton remix, the deluxe edition introduces a collection of new songs that continue to showcase Sabrina’s versatility as an artist. These tracks include “15 Minutes,” an upbeat disco-pop anthem that kicks off the deluxe edition with its glitzy and honest energy. Ballad song “Couldn’t Make It Any Harder” and country-style “Bad Reviews” bring a more reflective, introspective side to the album, while the ’80s-inspired synth beat of “Busy Woman,” which was previously released as a limited digital download, makes a reappearance.

Earlier this week, it was also announced that Sabrina will be performing at the 2025 BRIT Awards, where she will not only perform but also receive the prestigious Global Success Award, making her the first international artist to ever earn the honor. On top of that, she’s been nominated for two major categories—International Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year for “Espresso.”
Next month, Sabrina will kick off the European leg of her “Short n’ Sweet Tour,” which has already been a massive success. The sold-out shows in North America wrapped in November with a three-night run in Los Angeles, and now she’s set to bring the magic to arenas across Europe and the UK, including Dublin, London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Berlin. Due to high demand, additional shows have been added in Zurich, Oslo, Copenhagen, and Stockholm.
We can’t wait to see what Sabrina has in store next as she continues to evolve and push the limits of her music!
